Tersangka, MF (27), berhasil ditangkap kurang dari tujuh jam setelah laporan diterima, tepatnya pukul 11.59 WIB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kabid Humas Polda Jatim, Kombes Pol Jules Abraham Abast, menjelaskan bahwa penangkapan MF merupakan hasil kerja sama dan kecepatan penyidik Polda Jatim dan Polres Pasuruan. MF terbukti merencanakan dan melakukan pembunuhan terhadap korban, yang dimotivasi oleh sakit hati dan niat menguasai harta korban berupa mobil Honda CRV untuk melunasi hutang dan membiayai kebiasaan judi online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Menurut keterangan polisi, MF menganaya korban dengan pisau dapur hingga tewas, lalu mengganti pakaiannya dengan milik anak korban sebelum membawa kabur mobil dan dokumennya. Upaya menjual mobil tersebut gagal karena MF kesulitan menunjukkan identitasnya. Ia kemudian meninggalkan mobil di wilayah Pujasera Porong dan pulang menggunakan transportasi online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dirreskrimum Polda Jatim, Kombes Pol Widi Atmoko, menambahkan bahwa MF sempat hadir saat olah tempat kejadian perkara (TKP) dan memberikan informasi yang menimbulkan kecurigaan. Petunjuk penting lainnya berasal dari laporan warga yang curiga terhadap upaya MF menjual mobil secara COD (Cash On Delivery) melalui WhatsApp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Polisi mengamankan sejumlah barang bukti, termasuk pisau dapur, mobil Honda CRV putih, dokumen kendaraan, pakaian korban dan tersangka, dua handphone, dan uang tunai. MF dijerat dengan Pasal 340 KUHP tentang pembunuhan berencana, subsider Pasal 338 KUHP dan Pasal 365 KUHP tentang pencurian dengan kekerasan, dengan ancaman hukuman mati, penjara seumur hidup, atau 20 tahun penjara.
